Almanea’s anniversary sale represented an important commercial moment for the brand in Saudi Arabia, creating an opportunity to scale app installs and drive customer activity through TikTok.

With app campaigns already running ahead of the sale, Acquisit spotted an opportunity to strengthen performance by introducing fresh creator-led content designed specifically for TikTok. The objective was to increase app installs during the promotional period while maintaining installs efficiency.

Rather than relying only on existing campaign assets, the approach focused on combining TikTok-native creatives with paid media optimization to help Almanea reach and convert audiences more effectively.

Strategy

Acquisit used TikTok’s UGC Creator-Led Programme (CLP) to introduce a new pipeline of platform-native creatives into Almanea’s app campaigns.

Through the program, Almanea received eight videos produced by four creators, with content designed around TikTok’s style, tone, trends, and audience preferences. TikTok covered the creator production costs through the program, with Almanea’s investment focused on promoting the creator content.

The strategy was to strengthen the creatives supporting Almanea’s anniversary sale with content built specifically for the platform. By combining fresh creator-led assets with Acquisit’s paid media management and optimization, the campaign aimed to increase app installs while improving the efficiency of each install.

Execution

The eight creator videos were introduced into Almanea’s TikTok app campaigns on April 29, 2026, during the anniversary sale.

Acquisit integrated the new assets into the existing campaign setup and managed their deployment and optimization. Transactions were also tracked to understand customer activity beyond the initial install.

To assess performance following the creative launch, Acquisit compared two equal seven-day periods: April 22-28, before the creator videos launched, and April 29-May 5, covering the first week following their introduction.

Results & Impact

Performance improved significantly during the first seven days following the launch of the creator content.

  • App installs increased by 181%
  • Cost per install decreased by approximately 46%
  • Transactions increased by 54%, from 269 to 414.

Together, the results show that Almanea significantly increased app installs while improving cost efficiency during its anniversary sale. As the campaign progressed, however, performance softened as the initial creator assets experienced creative fatigue.

Conclusion

For Almanea, combining TikTok-native creator content with paid media optimization helped scale app installs during the anniversary sale while reducing the average cost of each install. The experience also highlighted the importance of continuously refreshing platform-native creative to maintain audience interest and sustain performance over time.
